“Into Bliss” is the first in a planned series of works conceived as Music For Sleep, Meditation and Relaxation.

Consisting of a single 30 minute track (which works beautifully when looped to create a potentially endless piece), ”Into Bliss” is pure ambient drone; a tranquil, minimalist soundscape which subtly and gradually evolves—designed to lull the mind into a restful state.

I’m quite picky when it comes to ambient music and agree with Brian Eno’s original assertion that ambient music should be easily “ignorable” and not call attention to itself, but rather gently envelope the listener. Best listened to with headphones at a lower volume, I’ve found it perfect for falling asleep to, meditating, or as background music for study and work. I’ve always believed in the healing potential of music and, indeed, began this project as a way of healing myself. I hope you enjoy it.
